Overview
CBT (Computer Based Test) is an online education platform developed by iBirds Software Services for a coaching institute that wanted to move from offline classes to a full PAN-India online system.
The client’s main goal was to reach more students, make learning easier, and give them a real exam experience from home.
To make this possible, iBirds built a complete online learning and testing solution where students can attend live classes, study from uploaded materials, take mock exams, and get their results instantly. The admin can control everything — courses, students, tests, and results — from one easy dashboard.
Today, CBT helps students across India learn and test online safely and quickly, giving both teachers and learners a smooth digital experience.

Frontend: Flutter (Android & iOS) and web platform.

Database: PostgreSQL.

Key Challenges
1. Preventing Cheating: The biggest challenge was to stop students from cheating during online exams. It was important to make the platform safe and fair for everyone.
2. Handling Many Users Together: During exam times, thousands of students take tests at the same time. The system needed to stay fast and stable even under heavy load.
3. Real-Time Feedback and Reports: The client wanted students to see their results and performance analysis right after completing the exam.
